Product Description
With reamers available in 0.5mm increments, surgeons can perfectly match the bone tunnel to the graft size, minimizing the "dead space" that can lead to graft tunnel widening or instability.
Includes specialized curved guides and elevators specifically designed to safely navigate the posterior "PCL ramp," protecting the neurovascular structures behind the knee during drilling.
The quick-connect modular handles are designed to provide a rigid, vibration-free connection to reamers, ensuring perfectly cylindrical tunnels with every pass.
The precision reamers and depth gauges are utilized in specialized coracoid transfers (Latarjet procedures) and for creating bone tunnels in complex AC joint reconstructions.
Long-shaft probes and elevators within the set are frequently used for labral preparation and for managing deep-joint capsular releases.
The primary indication for this set is anatomical ACL and PCL reconstruction, including double-bundle techniques and revision surgeries where precise tunnel placement is critical.

An ACL-PCL Instrument Set is a complete professional "toolkit" for knee surgeons. It contains every specialized tool needed to rebuild both the ACL and the PCL. This includes drills of every possible size, specialized "aimers" to hit the perfect spot on the bone, and tools to measure and prep the new ligament graft.
This set is the standard for Complex Knee Ligament Surgery. It is used not just for simple ACL tears, but for "Multi-Ligament" injuries where both the ACL and PCL are torn at the same time. Because it has so many sizes and shapes of tools, it allows the surgeon to handle any knee, regardless of how large or small the patient is.
The main advantage is Customization. Every patient's knee is different. This set gives the surgeon the ability to pick a drill that is exactly the right size (down to half a millimeter) and an aimer that fits the patient’s specific bone shape. This "custom fit" makes the new ligament much stronger and helps the patient get back to running and sports faster.
Biomechanically, the set is designed to optimize Graft-to-Bone Healing. By using precision reamers that produce a clean, smooth bone surface, the set encourages the bone to grow into the tendon (graft). The aiming guides ensure that the tunnel is placed exactly where the natural forces ($F$) of the knee are balanced, preventing excessive tension ($T$) that could cause the graft to stretch out over time.
The surgeon uses the Tibial and Femoral Aimers to mark the exact exit and entry points of the new ligament. A thin wire is passed, followed by the Cannulated Reamers to carve out the tunnels. The Graft Sizer is used to measure the tendon graft, and the Depth Gauge tells the surgeon exactly what size of fixation screw or button is needed to lock everything in place.
These are instruments used during the operation and are not left in the body. However, because they are so precise, they leave the knee in the best possible condition for healing. This precision allows for Accelerated Rehabilitation, where patients can start bending their knee and doing strength exercises sooner because the graft is placed in its perfect anatomical home.
The ACL-PCL Instrument Set is the ultimate tool for the modern orthopedic surgeon. Its combination of complete size options, anatomical guides, and high-strength stainless steel construction ensures that every ligament reconstruction is performed with the highest level of accuracy and reliability.
Yes. The set includes both standard reamers for full tunnels and specialized retrograde reamers for creating "sockets" used in the All-Inside ACL technique.
Yes. All instruments are made of high-grade 304V stainless steel and anodized aluminum, which can withstand ultrasonic cleaning and hospital washers/disinfectors.
When you measure a graft (like a hamstring), it might be 8.5mm thick. If you only have 8mm or 9mm drills, the fit will be too tight or too loose. 0.5mm increments ensure a "perfect fit."
Our reamers are hardened to HRC 48-52, meaning they stay sharp for a long time. Typically, they can handle 50-100 cases depending on bone density before they should be inspected for sharpening.
Yes. The PCL guide is specially "winged" to act as a shield, preventing the drill from moving too far forward and protecting the sensitive vessels behind the joint.
